  Renault´s budget marque Dacia has released a Logan model for tradespeople and private motorists, to the succesful Logan family and will produced in Mioveni/ Pitesti- Romania. The new Pick Up is a modern and robust car, two of the fundamentals of the Dacia Logan family. The new Pick Up is superbly practical with an 800 kg payload, a maximum load length of 1.80 m and 300 litres of towage space behind the seats in the cabin, witch designd for comfort and convenience and is directly derived from that of limo and station wagon sized and more typical of a comfortable C-segment vehicle than a B-segment.

  The pick up LCV ( Light Commercial Vehicle ) has exactly the same driving position and control ergonomics as other Logan versions and come with multiple standard and optional equipment. The pick up comes with a choice of three Renault petrol and diesel engines; one petrol engine 1.6 MPI = Multi Point Injection ) for exemple develops peak power of 87 hp at 5500 rpm andpeak torque of 128 Nm at 3000 rpm and two versions of the 1.5 cDi diesel enigines unit.

The NP200 ? ? ? The NP200 is “No Ordinary Bakkie”. After nearly 40 years of production there are very few South Africans who havent had some kind of encounter with the Nissan 1400 Bakkie. NP200 is an exciting introduction for Nissan South Africa. Named NP200 in line with Nissan global Commercial Naming Standards, the “N” stands for Nissan, the “P” for pick-up and the 200 is its series number in the commercial line-up. The NP200 will be manufactured at Nissan’s Rosslyn Plant north of Pretoria. The NP200 will be launched with a 1.6-litre eight valve petrol motor producing 64kW @ 5 500rpm and 128Nm @ 3 000rpm. In addition to best in class engine performance the NP200 will offer the largest payload in the segment (800kg), the biggest load box volume (1.25m³) and the longest load body in the segment (1 807mm).
