Dacia ( pronounced Dat-ch-a ) is coming to Ireland. Dacia is a Romanian car manufacturer, named for the historic region that constitutes much of present-day Romania. It is now a subsidiary of the French carmaker Renault. The car company is the main exporter from Romania with over 10% of total exports.

  Dacia has confirmed that it will introduce the Dacia Duster to Ireland in right-hand drive this year. Romanian cut-price brand range launches the Irish market with the Lodgy MPV set to join the line-up alongside the Duster SUV and Sandero Stepway 2 models. Dacia s little experiment in back to basics coulrd start to look like the best thing that`s ever happened in motoring. It'll be sold in front 4x2 and respectively in four wheel drive formats 4x4.

  The Romanian car manufacturer, Dacia, has confirmed that will sell Duster 4x4 in Ireland, and the first model that will enter the Irish market will be the first Romanian SUV – the Dacia Duster. Duster model fabrication began in January 2010 and has gradually increased, reaching currently to account for over 50 percent of the total production achieved by Dacia. The Duster SUV, is the second crossover SUV built by Dacia (after the collaboration at ARO 10) both in 4x2 and 4x4 versions. Dacia Duster managed to obtain numerous professional awards bestowed by the automotive field professionals. These include the title of 'Car of the Year' in Romania and Croatia, trophies of 'SUV of the Year' in Romania, 'Autobest', 'Argus' in the category of family vehicles in France and the title of 'Champion Residual Value' in Germany. As Ireland is also the only other European right hand drive market.

Renault Duster ready for the South American market The Renault Duster version dedicated to the markets in Brazil and Argentina was officially launched at the Auto Show in Buenos Aires and the differences from the European version are pretty important.
